Hypnosis uses trance or guided deep relaxation to gain access to the unconscious mind where we can find a vast amount of information and resources. Many studies show that most of our daily processes are done unconsciously, about 97% of the time. Think, digestive and vascular systems, second nature movement, behaviour etc. Hypnosis is used to bypass limiting critical associations or thought patterns in order to develop new neural pathways that resource you to make the changes you want. For example, you may be wanting to start a practice of writing every morning but every morning when you wake up, you instead go on your phone. In the heightened suggestibility of deep relaxation, your body is the subconscious and i guide you into a trance to reroute those neural pathways in the unconscious so that when you wake you think to write before you go to the phone. Another way i use hypnosis is as a listening practice, guiding you through your unconscious to see what is occuring as to create a deeper relationship with your self. Whether its understanding internalized belief systems, seeking clarity, quitting smoking or substance relationships, these narratives can be re-cognized, re-routed and ultimately engaged with.
There are many ways to use hypnosis.
About me
My background in interdisciplinary sculpture and painting led me to performance art at a young age, where I began exploring how movement reveals unconscious material. Over the past decade, my work as a choreographer and movement director evolved into a practice that integrates art, hypnosis, and somatic awareness. I use hypnotic and meditative techniques to help collaborators access deeper states of consciousness lending oneself to creative intelligence.
I spent years developing workshops in Slow Motion Meditation and Unblocking techniques. And in early 2025, I completed Melissa Tiers’ Integrative Hypnosis certification, continuing to develop this approach through collaborative projects with artists Jes Nelson and Daniel Ryan. This opened a door of co-modalities that stem from hypno-therepy.
I often use hypnosis to access the fertile void, to see what’s present, to relax, for pain relief and i also use it to clarify and reveal creative information. All of this is often connected to deeper narratives, and so I operate on the premise that their is nothing to “fix”- meaning, your experience is information meant to reveal tomorrows’ actions. What is felt today can be channeled into building new worlds together.
For clarity, I am not a medical professional, rather i use narrative medicine to explore what’s unseen.
My practice centers on the idea that healing is a creative process—unique to each person and rooted in embodied listening. All informtion is informtion. All hypnosis is self hypnosis. It can be used to access information already within you or connected to higher sources. I am a guide.
For me, this is a life long practice that i am happy to share with you.
